Monday comes - me - when do you want the job doing? Client next week?

Me- your looking about 8 weeks 🤣

Client Why 8 weeks?

Me- because there isn’t 4 months of the year to get your garden done.

Can I please remind everyone that there’s 10-11 months of the year you can get your garden done not just may until September when everyone whats it doing. Please spread the work so it’s ready for the sunny days.

Im now booking mid August so if you want it doing please keep booking in after this and please don’t expect it next week. Small jobs I may be able to squeeze here and there if the weather is good but not whole gardens 🙏

Keep those quotes coming and the only time we cannot do cement work is below 5 degrees.

Let’s see how many people actually book through winter as well 👌 your the clever ones if you do 😀

The sun is shining very hot 🥵

Expect delays has I won’t be putting myself through it. I tried to do some work this morning and lasted a whole 3 hours.

Believe it or not this time of year when it’s this hot isn’t the best time to do works. We prefer it around 20 degrees or below.

Everyone thinks this weather is good for out door workers! I say your completely wrong 👌

This is why I say please book through winter as well not just through summer. Spread that work load for us 😃

Stoke bardoplth job complete

Kandla grey Indian sandstone paving 900x600 completed over a 2 day period for our lovely clients from as recommendation

From start to finish we took out over 15 tonnes of waste 8 tonnes of type 1 back in and laid the slabs on a full Contact mortar bed with slurry primer 👍

And the clients kept us well watered and fed 😍

Good evening

So guys this one is over in Carlton and I must say I’m very happy for it to be done! You get some jobs that are just plane sailing and you get some that are just complete fu***rs! And this is one of those! Do I wish for another like this? Nope! Has everything gone wrong? Yep. Now we do take the rough with the smooth sometimes but my god I’m so glad this one is done because if I don’t laugh I’ll cry 😭
1 day it would be my van breaking down! The next something on the job would be changed! Then the next we couldn’t tile because we had something to wait for to dry! Then it was waiting for other trades! Or waiting for some materials! I will not sugar coat this one at all. I don’t ever want to see one again 😆😆

I’ll be happy if you don’t call me for 1 of these jobs 😆😆

It’s done and that’s that! Good bye for now 😆

Carlton job near on completion

This job has really tested my patience 🤣

Im just adding some finishing touches to this job!

The awkwardness of this job has been testing most days! Only being able to tile so much and so many stop starts waiting for things to dry.

Have I felt like packing up? Yep
Has it tested my patience? Massively
Could I cry? Yep
But I show up daily and carry on doing my absolute best and see it through until completion

All Im doing now is adding some nice trims to the edge of the tiles then Im done 👌
