Part-Time Construction Bookkeeper Wanted
We are looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Construction Bookkeeper to join our growing team.
Location: Nottingham - Victoria Business Park, Netherfield
Hours: Part-Time – Flexible (potential to develop into full time role)
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
About the Business:
Regional Lightning Protection Limited provide specialist subcontracting services covering lightning protection design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance/ remedial works. We work with a variety of clients ranging from end-users, main contractors, M&E contractors and facilities management companies.
The business was established in 2022 and has been going through a steady period of growth. As our operations have expanded, so has the need to grow and develop our team so that we can continue to deliver the calibre of service that has contributed to our business growth, and that our clients have come to expect.
Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records
Processing invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments
Reconciling bank accounts
Assist our external accountants with preparing VAT returns and payroll
Monitoring retentions
Maintaining accurate records using accounting software
Supporting management with financial reports
Requirements:
Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within the construction industry
Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) preferred
Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
