My advice.. 39 years spark

Don’t get a trade.. it looks good at the start but once you hit 50 you will be f**ked….

Crawling under floors with cat p**s, through roof spaces in 40 degrees heat

Back, arms and legs all gone and you then have to work another 16 years before you can retire…

I’m currently 54.. one new hip and waiting on an operation on my shoulder.. eight weeks weeks off work then expected to return to work for another 11 years..

Does that sound like a fun trade

I am a Napit electrician with almost 40 years experience but at present I have a bust back and shoulder and am looking for some help on a priced basis.

I shall never use Ring again… their customer service is unavailable unacceptable.

I have a disabled customer who is four hour round trip from me.

He changed his phone number this year and because of that we are unable to extend his £80 contract for another year without me standing next to him .

His mother who is her 80th has tried but they want her to climb a ladder to get the code of the camera….

Between us we have spent over nine hours to get this sorted and pay them the £80 to extend his contract…. Surely it shouldn’t be this hard

I am at a time of my life where I’m coming to the end of my career.

I have almost 40 years experience in the industry and don’t want it to go to waste as I believe I have a lot to offer.

So I have an offer for any apprentice who can’t get site experience..

I will take you on for 4 days a week for a fee of £200..

If you prove your worth I will employ you for the following week and pay you £200 for four days.
