6.30pm - 8pm

This can be taken as a full slot or separated into shorter lessons. My one to one lessons can be from 30 minutes.

🫶 M E E T T H E A M A Z I N G C L A I R E 🫶

I graduated in 2012 from the University of Essex with a BSc Mathematics and then trained to be a teacher in 2014. I have taught in both alternate education and intervention roles, making tailored schemes of work for the students, improving engagement, and helping them achieve results. I really enjoy teaching small groups and one to one as it allows me to get to know the students and really streamline their learning. I am also an examiner, which has really helped me to understand where common misconceptions lie within maths. I have taught KS2, KS3, foundation, and higher GCSE and functional skills mathematics.

I have been accepted to mark for another exam board this summer!

As a tutor and teacher doing summer GCSE exam marking is really valuable experience. It helps me to recognise common misconceptions and mistakes within maths, as well as having an excellent understand of question types and mark schemes. I have been marking for OCR since 2015, and am applying for more exam boards to broaden my experience.
