Key craft joinery

Due to an excessive workload we are now looking for quality bench joiners at advanced craft level City +guilds or equivalent. Salary £27k negotiable must be able to work on own initiative wood machining etc producing traditional sash and casement windows doors etc
Paint sprayer. Spraying the above water based paints in our spray booth
Salary. £24k again negotiable for the right person
We are always looking for window door fitters etc salaried or self employed price basis.

At keycraft we are fully time served to city and guilds advanced craft level in purpose made joinery
We have been busy making joinery items
Doors windows furniture both contemporary and traditional
I personally have survived 40 years in this business all of our work is properly made using quality materials properly jointed mortice and tenon oh and dovetails which I still cut by hand. Why? Because I can over the years we have worked for celebrities , footballers and the like
Over the years I have worked on churches public buildings night clubs etc including most pubs clubs in derby center. We have a decent reputation with building companies all over the Midlands
If anything isn't to you're liking with our finished work we ALWAYS rectify it although we don't get too many problems
So for the few people who tell me that keycraft is a bit pricey just look at the craftsmanship involved. We are NOT hammer and nail merchants and never will be
So if u want a real job doing at what I feel is a realistic price feel free to call me
If u want however a quick cheap job then you have the wrong joiners I respectfully advise u to call someone else

I repeatedly get asked about the construction of our doors and gates here goes
Timber. Oak. Sapele. Western red Cedar
European redwood (pine) iroko these are the most common timbers we use

Construction. All of our timber is machined by us from rough sawn planks
Through mortice and tenon joints (not stub/ short tenons , all tenons are wedged and cross dowelled. This makes a strong long lasting joint
Our products are sanded to 120 grit
We finish off with preservative and primer to customers requirements
We can supply only. But we do offer a fitting service using quality fittings

This week has been very busy again
A pair of entrance gates all mortice and tenon construction (wedged) supplied untreated
And a green oak porch again all mortice and tenon construction with draw bore dowels. This was supplied in kit form and is to sit on a brick dwarf wall very very heavy
