AI in the garden: Brilliant innovation or a threat to real design?

AI has been quietly running in the background of our lives since the 90s. But now, it’s entered the garden.

A new app called Spacelift aims to make garden design affordable for everyone using AI. On paper, it sounds great. But the Society of Garden and Landscape Designers (SGLD) and many industry experts are seriously concerned.

At Creative Roots, we believe a beautiful garden needs a soul. It requires real human connection, deep plant knowledge, and a designer’s passion - things an algorithm simply can’t replicate.
We’re torn on this one. What about you? Would you trust an AI to design your sanctuary, or do you prefer the human touch?
