This scheme delivering a high-performance, future-ready heating solution, achieving the quality and control standards expected on modern education projects.
The system incorporates Crane Dominator valves complete with ACTCS1 Smart Actuators, providing full Modbus/BACnet integration. These actuators enable precise modulation of flow to match the exact building demand, optimising comfort while driving down energy consumption.
All equipment is controlled via a bespoke BMS panel, ensuring coordinated operation of plant, pumps and SPC FCU convector fans. The result is one of the most comprehensively controlled systems we have delivered to date, with real-time feedback and intelligent energy management at its core.
The heating distribution has been designed to operate at a 45Β°C flow temperature, positioning the school for a straightforward transition to Air Source Heat Pumps in the future and supporting long-term decarbonisation objectives.
A strong team effort from design through to commissioning has ensured the school now benefits from an efficient, responsive and future-proof heating system β providing a comfortable learning environment while significantly improving overall system performance.
