An excellent afternoon spent by some of the Sheppard Piling Ltd team at Daytona Motorsport. We were supporting our valued client BERKELEY HOMES (OXFORD & CHILTERN) LIMITED raising funds for Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service

Was great to see so many companies supporting the event and The Sheppard Piling team, Pile Drivers, finished a respectable 7th place.

Congratulations to Collard Group Ltd on finishing in 1st place.

We look forward to the next event raising funds for such a worthy cause.

Due to the increase in demand for our services and a strong forward order book we are actively looking to complement our existing site teams with additional skilled piling operatives, and we are looking to recruit the following long-term positions :-

1x Piling Rig Operator Bored above 20T.

2x Piling Rig Attendant / Slinger Signaller.

1x Trailer Mounted Concrete Pump Operator.

All candidates will have to hold the relevant CSCS / CPCS or NPORS categories and provide suitable references.

In addition we are actively looking to recruit for the following roles;

Mobile plant fitter

(We are open to trainees/college students for this role with the opportunity for ongoing training and qualifications)

Our second Sheppard Piling Charity ball was an amazing success again with nearly £40,000 raised for an incredible charity, Action for A-T

🇬🇧 Foundations Built Together 🇬🇧

Our managing director Barry Sheppard and Construction Director Robert Sheppard have signed up to a great cause in support of RMA - The Royal Marines Charity

The charity exists to help the entire Royal Marines family, offering a range of services to those currently serving, veterans and their families.

The Sheppard brothers are undertaking the daunting task of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in support of this amazing charity.

The expedition is scheduled to take 9 days in total with around 6 days trekking the route before reaching the summit on day 7 of Africa’s highest mountain.

Any donations you can make in support of this would be greatly appreciated and will all go towards this worthwhile cause.

We are currently onsite at Crown Trading in Hayes for a key client JJ Rhatigan & Company. Our scope of works includes the installation of nearly 1000 piles and 10 static load tests with pile diameters ranging from 300mm, 350mm and 400mm with depths of up to 27m, as part of a residential scheme developing 407 purpose-designed apartments across 6 blocks.

We have made a strong start onsite completing over 450 piles in approximately 3 weeks, with some outstanding production being achieved by our crews. We couldn’t do this without the hard work and dedication of our on-site teams.

We’d also like to extend a big thank you and recognition to our supply chain;

London Concrete for their continued support, supplying a consistent 150 – 200m3 to site per day !!
Thames Reinforcements Ltd for supplying the rebar and reinforcement for the various cage types.
Lyron Construction Limited for supplying some great steel fixers and keeping up with our productions.

Another large scheme successfully delivered for Jerram Falkus at Ark Soane Academy by Sheppard Piling, utilising two of our Casagrande B175XP piling rigs working in tandem to complete the installation of 550 load bearing and contiguous piles up to 750mm in diameter. The project comprises of the construction of 3 blocks up to 13 stories in height with one block housing a single storey basement.
