Not every roof needs replacing.

Our customer had been quoted for a complete new roof after experiencing water ingress. Before proceeding, we carried out a thorough investigation to identify the exact cause of the problem.

Once the roof was opened up, we discovered a rodent infestation had torn through the breathable membrane and created nesting beneath the tiles. Fortunately, the roof structure and tiles were still in good condition.

Rather than recommending unnecessary work, we replaced the damaged membrane, repaired the affected area and reinstated the roof, saving the customer thousands of pounds on the cost of a full roof replacement.

🔨 One of our more challenging roofing projects completed. 🔨

Not every roof is straightforward, and this was certainly one that tested our experience and attention to detail.

This project involved a number of complex roofing details, requiring careful planning and traditional roofing techniques to ensure every part of the roof was completed to the highest standard. From intricate leadwork and difficult junctions to ensuring correct ventilation, weatherproofing and precise slate installation, every stage demanded patience, skill and accuracy.

These are the types of projects where experience really matters. Taking shortcuts simply isn’t an option when you’re building a roof that’s designed to protect a home for decades to come.
