Bedtime... π΄πΏ
This week has definitely caught up with me. I'm absolutely shattered! π« π΅βπ«
It's been a week of hedge cutting, early morning app meetings, family days out, and endless emails as we plan the next exciting step for GardenGo
A lot of people don't realise that before Green Fingers, I spent over 20 years working in healthcare. I'm currently an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (MSc) in the NHS and, for good measures, I'm also a qualified teacher (PGCE)π€.
For a long time, I thought success came from the letters after your name. But one thing I've learnt is that experience counts for an awful lot too. Gardening has been a passion of mine for over 25 years, and although Green Fingers has only been going for six, those years of reading, learning, trial and error, and simply spending time in gardens have taught me lessons that no qualification ever could.
My biggest passion has always been gardening. There's something incredibly rewarding about being outside in the fresh air, transforming a tired garden into somewhere people genuinely enjoy spending time.
This hot, dry spell has certainly tested a few lawns! Many of our south-facing gardens are looking a little scorched after weeks with barely any rain. Thankfully, grass is incredibly resilient, and with a decent soaking it'll soon be green again. π§οΈπ±
It's certainly hard work, but I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.
Goodnight everyone. ππ±
