As the weather warms up, your loft becomes one of the hottest spaces in your home, often far hotter than the rooms below. That sudden rise in temperature can reveal issues you don’t normally see: damp insulation, musty smells, sweating felt or timber that starts to move in the heat.
If your loft feels heavy, humid or unusually warm, it’s worth paying attention. Small signs now can prevent bigger problems later in the summer.
