Congratulations to Chase New Homes for achieving permission for 75 new homes and community facilities at the former Friends' School site in Saffron Waldon. We were delighted to have provided the designs for their successful application for the scheme and to have received such positive feedback from the planning inspectorate.

Thanks to all those who attended the PDQ networking event this week, held at the Cranfield School of Management.
The atmosphere was lively and engaged, with everyone enjoying the interesting and thought provoking talks given by Heather Pugh of David Lock Associates who also kindly sponsored the event, and Simon Wilkinson of The Wilkinson Partnership Estate Agents.
The event was a great opportunity to connect with more than eighty other construction and property industry professionals, and enjoy a fantastic lunch.

We’re thrilled for our clients, having received planning approval for a beautiful home extension, glazed porch, and a shepherd’s hut to be used as a home office.
The design takes inspiration from the nearby church, with vaulted ceilings, stone and timber materials, and glazing that blend seamlessly into the semi-rural setting. A perfect mix of charm, character, and function.

We are delighted to announce the successful Management Buyout of DCa, with Julian Buttel leading the business forward. David and Sheila Coles have stepped down as directors after over 30 years of building and growing the business and we would like to thank them for the opportunity and for their unwavering support. David will continue to provide consultancy services to the practice with Sheila supporting the transition of the business to Julian.

This marks an exciting step in the continued success of our well known and respected architectural practice, and we look forward to continuing to build on our reputation as the practice of choice: ‘adding value by design’.

We’re thrilled to announce that our client has received planning consent for a stunning contemporary extension to an existing barn conversion!
Our design seamlessly blends traditional craftsmanship with modern elegance, using existing materials to complement the original form. A striking glazed gable, central chimney, and glazed ridge create a bold architectural statement, while a traditional timber frame roof structure enhances the character both inside and out.

We are delighted to announce that detailed planning consent has been given for the development of 11 dwellings on the Catholic Convent site in Olney.

We are particularly pleased because consent was granted with the first and only application in a particularly sensitive part of our own beautiful, historic town. The successful scheme should enhance the setting of the original convent building, which is to be retained, and provide much needed, high quality family homes in the centre of .
