Outbuilding in St.Martins for a return customer who we did a full house re-roof on the main property last summer.

This time we did a Classicbond EPDM rubber roof with new Furring strips installed to change the direction of the fall and give better water run off. Full replacement of soffits, fascias and gutters as well.

Customers very happy again 😊

🏠 3 pitched roofs and 2 flat roofs completed on a property in Ruyton XI towns.

✅Starting with the back elevations we stripped the flat roof and replaced four rotten roof joists and the rotten fascias and soffits. We installed over fascia vents to allow airflow and put in some PIR insulation board. We then installed an 18mm OSB deck and covered with Classicbond EPDM.

✅We stripped the pitched elevations and installed fibre cement slates with dry verge and dry ridge systems.

✅On the front elevations we stripped the roof and found the wall plate was completely rotten and crumbling and upon further investigations the frame work around the dormer window was also completely rotten out and not supporting the flat roof so we ripped out the dormer and installed a new 6x3 wall plate and completely rebuilt the dormer and installed new uPVC cladding for a clean, tidy finish. We then installed a Classicbond EPDM covering and slated the pitch roof with the original natural Welsh slate to keep the traditional look of the front of the house.

Nice little EPDM rubber re-roof over a potting shed in Oswestry for Carl Tomkins Roofing.

Stripped the old, failed fibre cement corrugated sheets off, put new OSB deck down and covered with Hertalan EPDM

It's been a busy start to the year with 3 flat roof re-roofs, Chimney lead work repairs and starting our first slate re-roof of 2026

🏠 Flat roof garage in Oswestry that had been very poorly repaired by a so called local roofer which we stripped off and reinstated in Classicbond EPDM and new lead flashings

🏠 Flat roof summer room in Chester that was long past it's best and leaking so we stripped it off and reinstated with Hertalan EPDM and installed new flat roof glass skylight

🏠 Flat roof on an old chapel in Glyn Ceriog that had been leaking for a long time so much so that the plasterboard had fallen down. We stripped it back, replaced the rotten roof joists, installed 100mm of PIR insulation and an abutment wall trickle vent system to provide adequate airflow and then installed Hertalan EPDM

🏠 Chimney in St.Martins which had long standing issues so it was decided to re-new the lead work in the problem areas and for extra protection clad the inside cheeks to prevent any further problems. Lead welding by AT Leadworks & Roofing

What a year 2025 has been! After a busy year it's time for some much needed rest with the family and would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all my amazing customers and friends.

We have big plans for 2026 with a busy start to the new year and some very exciting projects already booked in we can't wait to get started! 🏠💪

A large new build extension completed this week in Marchwiel, Wrexham 🏠

A nice little clay tile mitred hip bay window re-roof in Ellesmere in new ACME Ashurst tiles.

We were contacted after being recommended by one of our customers as this homeowner had another roofing company carry out a re-roof on this bay window in the early summer and it had been left unfinished for months and generally a very poor quality of work.

Customer is now very happy with their new roof ☺️🏠

Low pitch re-roof in Overton completed this week. We installed the Permavent Low pitch system guaranteed down to 10 degrees paired with 24 x 12 fibre cement slates to make sure our customer has no further problems with their roof after having ongoing issues. Natural slates re-instated on the higher elevations.

Big thanks to AT Leadworks & Roofing for carrying out the lead work on this project including installing a lead mop roll water diverter in the valley to protect the low pitch elevation from the rain water running off the higher elevation 🏠
