Does every project need a concrete foundation?

Ground screws are becoming an increasingly popular alternative to traditional concrete foundations.

Another great project completed in the Cotswolds.

We were commissioned by Craft Landscapes to install the ground screw foundations and build a bespoke timber subframe for this impressive multi-level decking area alongside a stream.

Ground screws are a great alternative to traditional concrete foundations, especially on sites where you want to minimise disruption and get the project moving quickly.

'Excellent service from start to finish. I had the opportunity to call into Rapid Foundations and speak with Ed and Elinor prior to booking, both extremely helpful, I got to see the actual screws and fittings to be used.

On the day, Ed measured out, readjusted to suit the ground and within a few hours the majority of screws were in place, we had two screws which came into contact with roots, Ed and team truly persevered, sorted a solution. No mess. Thoroughly pleased, thank you all.'

Another domestic project - we installed ground screws for a 5.5x2m garden store in Shropshire. There were existing tree roots on this area, so we added an additional screw to span the old stump.
