Football returned to Washbrook Meadows Friday and again yesterday.

Friday saw our first team in friendly action against Buckland Athletic Reserves in what was an entertaining fixture with 7 goals. The fixture ended 4-3 to the otters and all the players and coaching staff were pleased with the result and effort shown by all after nearly 4 months without football.

The otters' goals were scored by Liam Carey Awaiting Partner, Lorin Newcombe (2) Awaiting Partner, Luka Nichols partnered by Exeter Scaffolding.

Yesterday saw the Devon and Exeter Football league kick off again after the lockdown break. The Reserves and Development squad were both in action, the reserves at home and development away.

Washbrook Meadows was the stage for a 2-1 victory for the reserves, while the development squad brought the 3 points back from Cliff Field in their away fixture against Lympstone.

The reserves goals were scored by Connor Swingler partnered by AJS property Services & the other was an own goal and the development squad goals were Carl Wilson, awaiting partner and another own goal.

More fixtures this coming week for the club, but due to the current restrictions they will all be behind closed doors without spectators, but we will keep you updated on when and what happens.
