Another beautifully finished project completed by the Spade & Stone team.

For this garden, we once again specified the sublime Dijon Tumbled Limestone from Mandarin Stone, a material we continue to return to for its timeless character, soft natural tones and beautifully aged finish.

The limestone has been complemented with ARDEX FLEX Grout in Antique Ivory, carefully selected to blend with the stone and create a subtle, cohesive finish throughout the paving.

Attention to detail is at the heart of every project we undertake, from the preparation beneath the surface through to the final cuts, jointing and finishing touches.

The result is an elegant and enduring outdoor space, designed to look as though it belongs with the property and to become even more beautiful with age.

STOCKSFIELD COMPLETE ✨

A project we’re incredibly proud of completing in Stocksfield.

Using the stunning Dijon Tumbled Limestone from Mandarin Stone⁠, paired with Ardex Antique Ivory grout, we’ve transformed this space into a beautiful and practical garden designed for modern outdoor living.

The scheme creates three distinct entertaining areas, with generous paving flowing seamlessly around the property and providing the perfect foundation for the client’s future outdoor kitchen. The raised timber planters introduce structure and interest to the garden, while the freshly turfed lawns soften the hard landscaping and instantly bring the whole space to life.

As the planting matures, the garden will become a vibrant, wildlife-friendly environment, attracting the pollinators that play such an important role in our ecosystem.

A huge thank you to MKM Building Supplies for supplying all the auxiliary materials, and to Jewson for providing the quality turf that finished the project perfectly.

This project showcases how well-executed timber work can completely transform the feel of a space.

We were brought in to deliver the bespoke Western Red Cedar elements, introducing warmth, texture, and contrast against the clean architectural lines of the build.

Our scope included the custom cladding, screening, and detailed timber features throughout, most notably the concealed access gate, designed to sit seamlessly within the fencing while adding a subtle, crafted focal point.

It’s these details, executed properly, that elevate a garden from standard to standout.

From concept to completion, this is a project we’re incredibly proud to share.

Defined by clean lines, timeless materials, and a design focused on both day and night living, this space perfectly captures what we aim to deliver on every job.
