Get To Know The Faces Behind Eradikil🐀

For those who may be new around here, it’s time to introduce the two people behind Eradikil Pest Control…

Meet Shane and Charley!❤️

After a few years of changes within the team, Eradikil is now back to its roots, just the two of them running the business! And between them, they really do keep everything moving🤩

Shane spends his days out on the road carrying out pest control, proofing work, bee removals and all the weird and wonderful jobs that come through the door🐜🪳

Charley is also out and about, carrying out contract work and assisting with pest control jobs. When she’s not out on the road, she’s keeping everything running behind the scenes - managing the diary, answering calls and emails, preparing quotes and invoices, looking after customers and making sure the business is ticking along🥳

Running a business together as a couple definitely comes with its challenges, but both have built something they’re incredibly proud of!🥂

Being a small family-run business means that every customer and every job genuinely matters. The aim has always been to provide a personal, professional service and that’s something that won’t change❤️

On Tuesday, the team were busy carrying out a honeybee relocation from a commercial property where the colony had been living for approximately six years😱

We carefully removed the colony and relocated them to our apiary, where they’ll continue to thrive in a safe environment. Every successful relocation is another opportunity to protect the bees and preserve an established colony🐝

A huge thank you to Guy at GW Pest Control, Elaine, Tasha and Barry The Bee from PestFix, Ross from Solcast Stone and Jake from JCR Scaffolding LTD who helped make this relocation possible❤️

Bee relocations like this are a real team effort and we’re incredibly grateful to work alongside people who are just as passionate about protecting honey bees as much as we are.

If you’ve discovered honeybees in your home or business, please don’t assume that they have to be treated. In many cases, they can be safely relocated to a new home, just like this colony!✨

☀️ An update from Eradikil! ☀️

Due to the current hot weather, we’re temporarily reducing our office hours to 9am-12pm.

We’ll still be here to help with all of your pest control needs, just reach out during those hours and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

⚠️ A little update from us at Eradikil! ⚠️

Our very own Shane has managed to break a rib because apparently pest control wasn’t keeping him busy enough!😅

He’s still very much on the mend which means we’re juggling a little more behind the scenes than usual. We’ll be doing our very best to keep on top of everything, but please bear with us if responses are slightly slower than normal.

Rest assured, we’re still here and taking care of all your pest control needs, it might mean that Shane is answering the phone and Charley is on site.
