One of the hardest inner conflicts to live with as a gardener is the climate crisis and loss of biodiversity that happens right in front of your face, I remember last year the roses flowered all year round… which on one hand is beautiful and on the other is like ummmmm this isn’t normal.

Anyways I won’t be too doom and gloom, here’s a few snaps from the lil ornamental veg patch I created for the Mole Inn and a lil friend I made 🐛🐛🐛

Iris Tip 🤓😎🥸

If you notice your irises aren’t doing well a lil tip that was given to me that makes me smile every year is because they like to sunbathe their lil bulb bellies.🥹☀️

I like to imagine them on the beach baking and dusting the sand off themselves and the flowers are their happy smiley faces. 🏖️☀️👙🌊

Sometimes you can just dust away the soil but if they’ve sunk too low you should lift them out completely and replant like I have done here.

Next year we should see more happy and flowery irises at

My Easter dandelion wish is to encourage all garden and nature lovers to refrain from pulling or spraying dandelions that have begun to flower… ❌❌❌❌

LET THEM BEE 🐝

Dandelions are some of the first plants to flower in spring and thus the first source of nourishment for the busy bees.. 🍴🍯

Personally I have always been fond of them and never seen them as a w**d and I feel with a change of heart maybe you could begin to see the beauty in the dandelion and find joy in knowing that you’re helping the revival of native wildlife ecosystems, something we all desperately need to pay attention towards… 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

So this is my plea to let the dandelions be.🥰🌼❤️‍🔥🌍

Back at it with the fluffy soil realness.. 💅🏼🌿😎🌱🥰

My week is currently open to taking on new clients, I know this won’t last long with spring around the corner so if you’re in the area and require garden maintenance please do message and contact me. Ideally I like to do 4hr or 8hr slots on a weekly or biweekly basis, but open to odd jobs in the meantime. 😀👍🏼
