Locksmith Engineer required!

Overview

Well established company based in Oxford require a Locksmith/Service Engineer for commercial and domestic locksmith work

Permanent contract (subject to probationary period)
Full-time role 40 hours per week (working hours Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm)
Call out rota, minimum of 1 in 4 weeks (training provided)
Company van and phone for business use will be provided
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Ideal Candidates

Previous experience as a Locksmith
Good tool skills & knowledge
Basic carpentry skills
Able to work alone using own initiative in order to support the team as a whole
Motivated, proactive and flexible
Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written. With experience working in a customer faced role
Driving licence (essential)
The successful candidate will be required to pass Enhanced DBS
Responsibilities

Carry out Installations / repairs of locks and ironmongery
Battery operated access control, lock and door servicing
Gain entry to properties where locks are faulty or keys are missing (training provided)
Installation of security doors, grilles and gates
Installation of safes
To be prepared to work on a rota basis for 24 hour call-outs (minimum 1 in 4 weeks)
Ensuring professionalism is upheld at all times including your dress code and behaviour
To complete accurate job sheets and paperwork for each and every job that you attend
To relay information back to the office for Re-booking of jobs, quotations, customer queries etc
You will be required to undertake all aspects of work that are within your capability and remain flexible to work as part of a team.

Overview

Well established MLA Approved company based in Oxford require a Sales Assistant / Bench Locksmith. The successful applicant will be trained in both bench locksmithing (sales, key cutting & lock repairs) outwork/installer (lock opening & installations)

Permanent contract (subject to 6 month probationary period)

Processing customer orders and payments
Provide accurate advice and recommendations on all security products
General bench locksmith work including cutting keys and pinning locks
Ordering products and chasing suppliers to ensure correct stock levels are upheld
Receiving incoming deliveries, checking against purchase orders and informing managers of discrepancies
Gain entry to properties where locks are faulty or keys are missing (once training has been provided )

Bookkeeper required!

Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in a busy, hands-on role. This position is ideal for someone confident managing day-to-day accounts, payroll, and monthly reporting, with strong Sage experience and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & HMRC

Run weekly and monthly payroll
Submit payroll information online to HMRC
Process and submit Nest pension contributions
Ensure PAYE contributions are submitted and paid on time
Process payroll payments through the bank
Year-end payroll procedures
Sales & Purchase Ledger

Enter supplier invoices and credit notes
Prepare and process supplier payments within agreed terms
Raise and update customer invoices in a timely manner
Allocate all customer receipts in Sage (cash, card, and bank)
Issue monthly statements to customers
Credit control on a daily/weekly basis
Handle customer disputes, gathering information and liaising with directors to agree outcomes
Banking & Reconciliations

Weekly bank reconciliations
Reconcile multiple credit card transactions
Reconcile fuel card statements
Accounting for cash receipts
Reconcile and allocate daily shop takings
Replenish, distribute, and reconcile petty cash
VAT & Reporting

Prepare, run, and submit VAT returns (cash accounting)
Nominal ledger maintenance and journal entries
Production of monthly management accounts
Assist with year-end accounts
Liaison with company auditors
General

Liaise with suppliers regarding payments and queries
Deal with customer invoicing queries
Ad-hoc duties as required
Basic CIS knowledge (desirable but not essential)
Skills & Experience Required

AAT qualified or similar
Proficient in Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll
Experience managing pensions and auto-enrolment
Full accounts experience up to monthly management accounts
Experience in a busy, hands-on environment
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
