Maintain your chimney every year,
Now listen up, Iāll make it clear,
Iām telling you a poem, you see,
To stop chimney fires - trust me!
š§¹ Give it love and give it care,
Or youāll be tearing out your hair,
Soot builds up, it doesnāt wait,
Then suddenlyā¦ itās far too late!
š¦ Birds move in and block the flue,
š§ļø Rain comes down and joins them too,
Smoke backs up, the room turns grey,
That cosy fire wonāt stay that way!
š So call your sweep, donāt delay,
Keep the danger well at bay,
For a clean, safe chimney burning right,
