Always getting over mistakes from other trades this time is was the bricklayers fitted the wrong window height and width which transferred into the lintel being outside the roof line so we had to pack up the plates on the steel which always looks awful and start to pitch the roof even the snow made an appearance. Well done to the team again for digging deep to get this done

One of my personal favourites this one working for Sjp construction and lots and lots of Oak very important to measure twice cut once with this one, but super happy with the way it turned out. The barn was over 20 metres long with a 800! Yes 800mm variation in with each end. But with a lot of thought where this can be lost we did it thanks to all the team on this one.

Little extension roof cut in made a bit more difficult due to a structural engineer who insisted on steel purlins but hey ho. Very warm weather but stuck it out well done to the team.

The difference between one coat and two coats of protection, some like to leave Canadian west red Ceder to go grey but it’s a shame not to enhance the beauty of the colour with a UV protected clear oil.
