We recently celebrated the end of phase one completion at Paignton zoo 🥳

An evening of entertainment was put on by the new zoo owners in what marks a fantastic achievement of the incredible works that have been completed there. Collaborating with the owners, the staff and all the other businesses involved with the project was truly rewarding. Watching so many people taking a tour around the zoo for an out of hours evening to see the changes was inspiring.

Along with so much that has been happening there, we were proud to play our part in delivering the following....

Working and moving incredibly heavy pieces of glass around a working zoo is no easy task, and comes with some careful consideration. With small narrow paths, other trades, enclosure environments, the general public and most importantly the welfare of the animals, it all comes with its challenges. Our team handled each individual part of the project with the utmost care and professionalism throughout. From design, organisation, installation and aftercare, we've thoroughly enjoyed the task at hand and being involved in such a special project. Working up close and personal with the animals has been a highlight and one our team will never forget.

Project aside- we have been more than humbled to see the work that goes on behind the scenes at the zoo. The care and effort that goes into the animals by the teams you don't normally see is incredible. Full credit to them 👏

Its Monkey heights day at the zoo 🐒

All teams on hand and the crane in tow should we need it, makes a big day of some big glass 💪

Unfortunetly the black Macaques indoor viewing area is closed today as we look to bring a much clearer viewing day tommorow. We cant wait until they are let back in later this afternoon.

Working on animal enclosures at the zoo comes with its challenges, the logistics and keeping disruption to a minimum to the animals is always a top priority. Working alongside the keepers has been really enjoyable and has given us a great insight to what goes on behind the scenes there.

Next up tommorow..... Mandrills, and another big day of big glass on their enclosure. Finishing off friday with the Lemurs for their upgrades.

Being a part of this journey with the Zoo has been brilliant and we are exited to see many more of the upgrades in the near future. What a great investment into our local town.

The detail is in the design 😍

Another Above town, Dartmouth project completed this week using our hand crafted Accoya timber sashes. Windows this property deserved. We can't wait for the scaffold to come down so we can get some better pictures of the windows we have replaced including the widening of the top floor window to really maximise the view.

Nothing beats Dartmouth in this lovely weather and we cant wait to showcase a beauty we have coming up there soon 📷

No let up here going into next week though, as we progress further at the Zoo and it's time for the Monkeys 🐒. Surveying these guys was hilarious and we cant wait to see their reactions with their new enclosure upgrades. If you haven't visited recently, its a great time to see many of the upgrades going on throughout.

Skipping the showers yesterday for a productive day on Dartmoor. Firstly a design detail meeting with Concept Building Services and PMR Architecture for project Yarner woods. This new off grid visitor centre set right in the heart of the woods will feature many elements of glazing throughout, including the beauty of Rationel, and we can't wait to see this project progress over the coming months.

Secondly, a visit to one of our most recent projects with Dan Cook Carpentry and Building Limited These stunning new buildings that form extended areas to the main property, really fit right in to there surroundings of the national park. A huge sliding door and heritage glazing elsewhere, these custom black frames really set the tone agaisnt the immaculate stone work. Glazing aside, the details that have gone in to these buildings is incredible, full credit to the builders working here 👏

The end of the week sees us return to Paignton Zoo to install some remaining glass as the buildings are progressing. We can't wait to get a few snaps of what we have been up to there. You may have also noticed the new arrivals this week 🦏 really exiting times for the Zoo, and we are so honoured to be a part of this journey. A fantastic evening at the Exeter Chiefs Awards Evening on Thursday 🏉

A big thank you to NB installations for the invitation. Our directors, Luke and Sam, had a great time celebrating alongside so many brilliant people and businesses.

It was an excellent event with a great atmosphere, and we’re grateful to have been part of it. Looking forward to future opportunities to connect and celebrate together.

Another property on Above town, Dartmouth completed for these wonderful clients.

Above town is never an easy task due to its location, and we are now on our 5th project here, with another starting in a couple of weeks. However, the spectacular views and stunning property's you get up there always makes it worth while 👌

This particular property underwent a full internal and external transformation and the clients have done a fantastic job in creating a stunning masterpiece both in and out. We are truly privileged to have been able to supply them with all their glazing needs and install nice fresh powder coated aluminium throughout and a lovely RK classic door to really finish it off. A bespoke juliet balcony ensured they can open up the full frontage of the living areas with uninterrupted views across Dartmouth.

A great project to be a part of, and we hope they are enjoying their home.

Gooood morning 🌞

Time seems to have run away since our last social shout out! Having been incredibly busy since the year turned, and now going into one of our busiest periods into the summer, weve struggled to find the time.

However...... We are incredibly proud to recieve confirmation that we have been the chosen supplier for everything glazing at Paignton Zoo! Starting on the main entrance and then casually moving around the zoo, bringing back to life a local space we all enjoy. Animal encounters and stunning landscapes of the zoo will be aplenty as we work our way around the different areas, and we can't wait to get going 💪

As a paignton based company, we couldn't be more excited of working so close to home on a huge part of Paigntons story. Working alongside Dyson Construction SW Ltd, the new owners of the zoo and many other buisnesses around the bay, we are happy to play our part with them bringing a whole new life to Paignton zoo.

Now where's them tools gone? 🐒

First day on site for us today in the lovely village of Lustleigh. Working alongside Kingmoor construction on yet another incredible project of their's.

With a mixture of cederal cladding and render, our umbra grey Velvac windows are going to to really set the tone on this stunning refurbishment.

We look forward to taking some snaps of this one once the windows are in and the scaffold drops 👌

The team at NB installations would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! 🎄

With the team now ready for their much deserved break, its time to reflect on what has been another fantastic year for us here ! From many stand out projects throughout the south west, new client relations, community events and an ever growing team, we couldn't be prouder. Here's looking forward to 2026 in what is set to be yet another bumper year! We would like to thank everyone that has supported us throughout.

We recently held our annual sponsors day at Paignton Rugby Club for the Paignton V Newton abbot local derby, and what a day it was. A great event where we got to invite many local businesses, friends and clients alike who have supported us throughout the years. A fantastic win by the cherries and the day went well into the night with live music from Bootlegger's Turn and what a show they put on, they had the place rocking ! We also raised £950 for the The Devon Clinic Paignton helping them support the brilliant work they do there. Thank you to all the local businesses that donated raffle prizes, the community spirit this one attracted was nothing short of amazing. Nothing is more satisfying than giving back and we truly enjoy days like this in what brings us all together, We cant wait for the next one!

And now for some more big news....... WE HAVE MOVED! We are exited to share that we are now operating from our brand new premises on Torbay business park. We look forward to welcoming you to our new inviting offices and a huge 1200sqf show room which will include full size samples of our full product range. This will provide our clients the opportunity to visit the largest showroom within the area to really get a feel for their windows and doors. Our friendly team will be able to provide you with the same quality advise, design and product insights for any project you may have coming up. We really look forward to sharing this space with you !
