We were recently called to Visto Lounge in Torquay after the kitchen lost its lighting and was unable to operate.

With the kitchen effectively out of action, this was one that needed dealing with straight away. Our team rearranged what they were doing and headed directly to site.

Within one hour of receiving the call, we had attended, identified the problem and completed the repair, allowing the kitchen to get back up and running.

We have recently started working with a new hotel group, with the first few projects now getting underway across the South West.

Recently we have been carrying out a survey for new bollard lighting at The Pig. The installation works have already been agreed and will be starting shortly.

We have also been instructed to complete five EICRs at staff accommodation in Wadebridge, Cornwall.

For hospitality sites, good planning is important. Electrical works need to be coordinated around the property, staff and guests, with clear communication about what is happening and what comes next.

These initial jobs are a great opportunity for us to get to know the sites and build a strong working relationship with the group.

We are currently looking for a Service Coordinator to join our office team in Paignton as the business continues to grow.

This is much more than a general admin role. The successful candidate will gradually take responsibility for customer accounts and coordinating engineers, helping manage jobs from the moment they arrive through to completion, paperwork and preparation for invoicing.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, pays attention to the detail and enjoys taking ownership of their workload. Electrical experience is not essential, and backgrounds in facilities management, property maintenance, social housing, construction or other field service businesses could all be a great fit.

It could also be an interesting opportunity for a qualified electrician who is thinking about moving away from the tools and into an office based coordination role.
