Here are some before and after pics of the restoration me and the team carried out at a listed building in Parkhead at the start of the year.

Everything had to be replaced like for like using new stone dressed and shaped on site by hand.

The entire gable end was stripped down inner and outer leaf of stone pallated on site and rebuilt using new stone where required.

Moulded string courses were cut on site to match original profile and built all in lime mortar.

It's taken a while to post this as we have been so busy on other projects but here is another completed project by Lees Stonemasonry

We are currently working on a a listed building Parkhead School house. We are making new moulded stringer stones to match the existing ones and rebuilding them.

Here is a stone gate pillar at St James Church in Paisley we were asked to take down and make the opening bigger to allow access for bigger vehicles.

As you can see we took this down carefully using machinery and poured a new foundation. We then rebuilt it in its new position and pointed with lime mortar.
