One day. One night. One incredible challenge. ⚽️

Tomorrow night, some of the Peacock Turfscape team will kick off a 24-hour Walking Football Match, carrying on right through into Friday!

Walking football sounded like the sensible option… until someone added the other 23 hours and 55 minutes! 😅 We’re expecting sore legs, questionable football skills and enough caffeine to keep a small village awake but it’s all for two brilliant causes.

Don’t worry! the rest of the Turfscape team will be holding the fort, so the shop and yard will remain open and running as usual!

💙 Donations to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity help fund specialist medical equipment, vital research, play programmes and support for young patients and their families.

🐾 Donations to Saving & Rehoming Strays help towards rescuing and caring for dogs in need, including food, veterinary treatment and helping them find loving forever homes.

We’ll be sharing photos and updates from the event although the pictures taken during the final few hours may not be our finest! 😅

Every donation, no matter the amount, will help these charities continue their incredible work and give our players some much-needed motivation to keep the ball rolling for the full 24 hours!

It all starts right here! Our team are busy seeding the fields as another growing cycle begins. 🚜

There’s plenty of work that goes into our turf long before it reaches your garden.
From preparing and seeding the fields to months of growing, feeding and caring for it.

Now we just need a little help from the Scottish weather… some sunshine and rain would be ideal! ☀️🌧️😂

🌱One acre. One day. Gone! 🚜

That brown patch beside our harvester? Yesterday morning, it was all lush green turf!

In just one day, we harvested a full acre. Expertly grown, harvested and delivered, making its way into landscaping projects and gardens across Renfrewshire and beyond. 🏡🌱

It might leave our field looking a little bare… but we love knowing there’s a whole acre of fresh Turfscape turf getting laid somewhere else! 💚

🌱 Another field opened!

In less than a month, we’ve finished cutting in our previous field and have already moved on to the next! 🚜

It’s been a very busy few weeks here and we genuinely couldn’t do it without the continued support of all our customers.

Here’s our harvester getting straight to work cutting fresh turf and building the pallets ready to head out to gardens and projects across Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Today’s opening hours..

Just a reminder that we are closed today at 12pm (last loading 11:30pm) to allow our team to attend the funeral of much loved colleague Colin Sinton.
