I love to reclaim wood and this Mango hardwood comes all the way from India - where it's a byproduct of the Mango industry - in the form of flagstone crates that would otherwise be burnt or landfilled. As a result of this I consider my source to be the most ethical and responsible I can think of. It takes a lot of hard work to make it beautiful but the satisfaction is fantastic. Even feeling the weight of the finished pieces astounds me and that's before I consider the beauty of the wood.
