We had an emergency job yesterday (Saturday). This multi stemmed goat willow had collapsed onto the roof of this newly purchased house in Newcastle Emlyn. Luckily there was a tree close by to connect myself to, and to support the weight of the fallen tree whilst I worked on it. As I reduced more weight, the supporting rope would be pulled tighter and tighter.
The work was completed without a single cracked tile or any other damage. Quite miraculous that the initial impact didn't break anything. Thank you Amy Ogilvie for taking the pics. 💚

Working in Felindre, Waungilwen.
This very large Fir tree sadly had to come down for safety reasons. It had a condition known as advanced 'included bark' which meant it was only a matter of time before one of the main stems split away from the other. Due to it's proximity to a house and road, it was too hazardous to leave standing. Lowering techniques were required to prevent damage to the surroundings.

This bird Cherry tree was huge and out of balance. A fairly heavy crown reduction was required along with a supporting sling for a weak decayed limb 🌳
