🚿 Busy Few Weeks at Prestige Plumbing Heating Ltd! 🔧

It’s been a busy few weeks, with a variety of jobs completed across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

First up was a shower tray alteration for an elderly tenant, improving accessibility and creating a much safer showering space. The existing quadrant enclosure was removed and replaced with a low-level rectangular shower tray and easy-access enclosure, complete with grab rail.

Next was a last-minute bathroom installation after the customer had been let down at short notice. The customer supplied all the bathroom furniture and materials, and we carried out the full installation, transforming the room from a dated suite into a fresh, modern bathroom.

💧 Burst mains pipe emergency 🚨

Got called out to a property with a burst lead main right at the entry point — full excavation needed to expose the pipe safely and carry out the repair.

Old lead pipework like this is a ticking time bomb ⚠️ — once it goes, it goes. We isolated, dug down, and got things ready for a proper fix to restore supply and prevent further damage.

If your water pressure suddenly drops or you notice damp ground outside, don’t ignore it — it could be something serious underground.
