The last few months have definitely tested me.

My van engine packed in, then came all the drama with hire vans, and now I’m back working out of a car again. It’s not been easy, especially when you’re trying to run a business, keep jobs moving and keep customers happy at the same time.

But one thing I refuse to do is lose sight of the goal.

Things are going to go wrong. There will be setbacks, bad days and times when you wonder if it’s all worth it. But you just need to keep going.

Because what if you quit today, and the opportunity you’ve been working towards was just around the corner?

You’ll never know how close you were if you give up.

So for now, it’s tools in the car, turn up, get the job done and keep moving forward.

The goal hasn’t changed. Just the road getting there. 💪

It’s been a hard few months. Probably harder than I’ve let on at times.

But weirdly, whenever things feel like they’re getting on top of me, I always find myself thinking about this quote from Rocky:

“If you ever get hurt, and you feel that you’re going down, this little angel is gonna whisper in your ear. He’s gonna say, ‘Get up, you son of a bitch, ’cause Mickey loves you.’” Sometimes I say “cause Megan loves me”

Sometimes that’s all you need to hear.

Get up. Keep going. 👊
