This was such a challenge, the walls had 4 layers of paper and polystyrene and we had no clue what to expect when we took it off, as you can see there was a lot of holes, dents and marks…… not a problem, we went to town and made the walls looks flawless, dado rail was removed and we skimmed over it. A doorway had been filled in but was plastered flush to the paper so we sanded it back and skimmed it flush.
We colour drenched walls, woodwork and radiator and it looks stunning 😍 we also painted the fire surround which just brought it all together

What a transformation 😍 I’ve had an itch to do black woodwork for a long time and this customer put her faith in us and said do what you want, and just wow, it’s completely changed the personality of the bedroom, all wardrobes and side tables black, white cotton on the walls and ceiling, I’m utterly in love with it 😍

a solid, well-used staircase with calming sage-green walls, classic dado rails and neutral carpet – perfectly nice, but a little cosy and traditional, though it did feel slightly dark on cloudy days.

we gave it a fresh coat of paint in a soft two-tone pink (gentle blush on the upper walls and a warmer coral below the dado) The new colours bounce the light around beautifully, making the whole staircase feel brighter, more spacious and genuinely uplifting – it’s amazing how much happier everyone seems walking up and down now! 💕
