Visited a few sites today admiring some fine quality workmanship. At Shire Homes Ltd we pride ourselves on second to non quality and attention to detail. This includes full restoration and conservation work to fine joinery manufacturing.

The Spinning Gallery. Townhead in Troutbeck, Lake District National Park, has undergone a beautiful, low impact restoration project.

This historic building dates back to 1666 and has been carefully restored back to glory.
The restoration project included:
Careful restoration of the oak framing
Laying a new larch walkway
Re-lime torching to the underside of the roof slates.
The Spinning Gallery is a beautiful example of traditional Lakeland architecture.
