🚨We have some exciting things coming soon!🚨

We have secured a plot of land and ordered a polytunnel so that we can grow specialist plants. 🌺

We will be specialising in Primulas and Meconopsis along with some other shade loving plants. Although the polytunnel will be here in just over a week, it will be good 12 months before plants are ready as we are planning to grow as much from seed as we can!

A good weekend of progress on the project at home. Preparing the timbers that will form the base for the new greenhouse. Half lap joints, I have scorched the timbers with a high powered blow torch. Then gently wire brushed them before painting them with a Danish oil (I find this effect more aesthetically pleasing than the raw timber). Hopefully next weekend will see the er****on of the greenhouse. Thanks for looking.

Got to love ferns at this time of year. Well worth adding one or two to a shady part of the garden.
