A recent project near Burton upon Trent saw Waitings mobilise at short notice for a valued repeat client, delivering sheet piling works within a building with restricted head height.
The works involved installing a cofferdam to facilitate the construction of a wheel lathe pit. Pre-augering was carried out using our auger equipment and HX380 Excavator to loosen the stiff clay before installing 48 GU13N piles at 5.5 metres using our HX380 Excavator and SG75 Movax Side Grip Attachment, followed by the frame installation and excavation to formation in readiness for the clients construction works.
Strong coordination between our site team and client helped ensure the works were completed ahead of programme.
