Lisa came in a while back to pick some fabric and colours for her seats and panels, unfortunately she arrived in a cloud of smoke 🫣

So, after checking everything and finding the brakes were stuck on as well as leaking rocker cover gaskets, we sorted the mechanical issues and got back to the original plan.

Upholstery wise, we made and recovered all the door panels... simple and clean in the back, and a bit of stitching with orange piping in the cab.

The original cab seat needs a bit of welding and new pads before Laura worked her magic on new seat covers. Also a quick spare wheel cover to match and new curtain tie backs to finish it off.

Collected today, looking fresh.

Thanks for looking

Had Joe's van back in for the 500 mile service already 😂😂

He's been everywhere in it ! and loving it 😍

He's off to France next week for a wedding so we've given it a good check after a complete rebuild and more than 25 years off the road.

While we had it, we did a few extra jobs, like fitted an ariel, a visor and the original devon table.

He will be back at a later date for a full stereo / sound system, but for now its time to enjoy the drive.

Had Neil's Beetle in for a headliner. Had to turn this round quickly as he still has some jobs to do himself before Volks Weald in a weeks time.

The paint job on this looks mad in the sun, and has to be the bravest, 1st time, DIY paint job ive ever seen 😎

Thanks for looking.

Sorry we haven't posted for a while... need to go though everything and post more stuff, but had a collection this morning and have been sorting the photos....

Here's "the Grandad bus"

Joe came to us with his van that he had inherited... not sure whether it was possible.

Well, anything is possible really.

We've done a sympathetic restoration on this 1972 trying to leave some of the original features, but a few upgrades along the way, to make it his.

Thanks for looking...

Now for something a bit different 😎

Myles 's epic "Slam Rover" came in for some finishing touches before the Volksworld show next month.

Fat biscuit style bench seat and a custom German weave carpet with matching edging.

Love this thing.
