Maybe the worst lead job I’ve ever seen! Honestly most of it wasn’t even fixed to the chimney.
This chimney was rebuilt 2 years ago with new lead installed all at the cost of £7k, all to stop a leak.
Well it still leaked and the customer was hugely out of pocket.
Thankfully it’s now sorted, with the roof getting a new ridge and some much needed maintenance we finished off the chimney with some new lead, expertly installed by my good mate roofing. What a huge difference it makes when you know what you’re doing 😀.

St Newlyn East completed today.
This is a water reed wrap over flush cut ridge with a few repairs a clean down and installation of wire netting to keep the pesky birds away. SWT

St Newlyn east. Ridge renewal using water reed with a flush cut finish. While wheat at a shortage we are currently using water reed on our ridges, I’m actually thinking of making this a permanent change as I believe they will out last any wheat ridge and look almost identical.

Helford. New extension with water reed, joining into the existing roof and flush cut ridge replacement.
