Storm Goretti – Road Clearance Update

Our teams have been working through the weekend to clear main roads following Storm Goretti, ensuring they are safe and open for use as quickly as possible.

Specialist tree arborist teams, digger clearance crews, and HIAB operations have been deployed across key routes to remove fallen trees, debris, and obstructions. This coordinated effort is focused on freeing up road space so Cornish people can get back to work and travel safely.

We’re working closely with the Council and will continue operations where needed. Thank you to residents for your patience and to our crews for their hard work in challenging conditions. 💪🌳🚧

Cornish Stone Wall Rebuilding
Alongside clearance works, our skilled teams are also rebuilding damaged Cornish stone walls, restoring sections impacted by the storm on highways and within private properties. Preserving and reinstating these traditional structures is a key part of the recovery process.
