We are pleased to sponsor Melvile Motor Club. Founded in 1933, the club initially focused on motorcycle trials, scrambles, and motocross. Since the 1970s, it has shifted its primary emphasis to motorcycle road racing and track events. The East Fortune Race Circuit in East Lothian serves as the club’s main venue, where members actively participate in its maintenance.

We are pleased to play a significant role in the development of a state-of-the-art training facility designed to simulate real fire scenarios without harmful fumes. The Perth Training Centre is in the final stages of construction, set to offer cutting-edge training and advanced fire contaminant control capabilities.

At the heart of this initiative is the new Compartment Fire Behaviour Training (CFBT) facility, which will replace the outdated Hot Fire Training Unit. This innovative facility will accurately replicate the fire situations that crews are likely to encounter in real-life emergencies.

Additionally, it will incorporate a sophisticated smoke capture and filtration system, ensuring that any fumes generated during training are effectively contained, treated, and cleaned before being safely released into the atmosphere. This approach significantly reduces environmental impact.

This facility marks the completion of the fourth project at the site, following the removal of the existing Hot Fire Training Unit, the redevelopment of welfare areas, and the establishment of a Contaminants Control Unit for the CFBT facility.
