Sidey are proud to support Ayrshire Housing's commitment to helping more children enjoy reading at home📚

By helping to remove cost as a barrier, this initiative is giving local children greater access to books and the opportunity to develop a love of reading from an early age.

A fantastic initiative making a meaningful difference to children and families across the local community.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton, whose vision and generosity have inspired millions of children around the world through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

As proud members of the Imagination Library, Ayrshire Housing and our partners Sidey Solutions Ltd and Radbury Double Glazing Ltd remain committed to ensuring as many children across South Ayrshire as possible can benefit from this fantastic programme. Every child deserves the opportunity to discover the joy of books, spark their imagination, and develop a lifelong love of reading.

In honour of Dolly's incredible legacy, we are more determined than ever to work with local nurseries, early years centres, and Ayrshire Housing tenant families to help more children access free, high-quality books each month.

A wonderful legacy that will continue to change lives for generations to come.

Today, we celebrated our wonderful Administration Assistant, Wendy, as she retires after an incredible 23 years with Sidey.

The team marked the occasion with a special lunch and a presentation of gifts. Our Joint Managing Director thanked Wendy for her many years of loyal service, noting that her kindness and warm nature will be greatly missed.

We wish Wendy all the very best as she sets sail - quite literally - on her next chapter. You will be sorely missed by everyone at Sidey! ⛵💐

Supporting Music, Memories & Connection 🎶

We were delighted to donate a new printer and PA system to Arbroath Connections , through Angus Housing Association Ltd Community Benefit Scheme, helping them continue to bring people together through music and shared activities.

The new equipment will help residents enjoy a sing-along, entertain each other and simply get lost in the music!

💬 Lyne at Arbroath Connections said "We'd like to give a big thank you to Angus Housing for including us in their Community Benefit scheme and of course everyone at Sidey. Little things make a huge difference to everyone involved with our dementia friendly charity; we all send thanks! Our members feel themselves again when they get lost in a favourite song, their performance lifts everyone's mood and our wee office is running with so much more efficiency since we got our new printer, allowing us more time to be with our members."

It’s great to know that our donation will be put to good use and help bring a little extra enjoyment to the people who use the service ❤️

Sidey is pleased to be supporting the Campion Homes Charity Golf Day this Friday with a donation towards the event, helping to raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation.

The British Heart Foundation funds lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases, helping to improve diagnosis, treatments and care for millions of people affected across the UK.

We hope everyone taking part has a fantastic day on the course and, most importantly, helps raise a brilliant amount for such a worthwhile cause🏌️‍♂️
