So I haven't posted anything in in a long time for a number of reason but mostly a lack of self esteem. This however is a project that I have loved from start to finish. I regretfully don't have a before photo but it still had the original table and sewing machine and owners manual. The customer found it at the bottom of their garden where it lived for excess of 15 years and looked scrappable when I got it.

I will miss this project.

Outdoor furniture for a customer. He brought me an old wooden table and chairs that originally belonged to his parents. The wood was weather worn and rotten in places. Lots of repairs and some wood to replace, furniture completely sanded, polish applied. Happy with the final result.

Thomson Woodworks has been very busy the last few months with onsite repairs. I am always happy to discuss a job at length with a customer to determine if it is something that can be completed onsite. Upholstery, scratch repairs, and sofas can all be fixed in a customer's home and completed that day. (Please note - safety measures are followed when completing a job in a customer's home).

So I had a lovely customer today who was in a bit of a predicament with the new sofa they had bought. The long and short of it is that appropriate discussions did not take place between the sales rep and the customer.
