Another little weekend job- Customer Complained that their heating was coming when the hot water was being turned on at the programmer. First port of call was to check how the 3-port Valve was operating and after inspection I found the ball and motor had seized causing the heating to come on when the hot water was calling for heat from the boiler. The valve was change then changed for new Honeywell 3-Port and the fault on the heating/hot water was rectified.
