Bathroom 3️⃣ of 3️⃣.

Transforming a bedroom 🛌 to a bathroom 🛁.

⚫️ 2nd doorway added creating a jack & Jill bathroom/ ensuite.
⚪️Old landing cupboard demolished to make more space.
⚫️Ceiling ripped down, re boarded and skimmed, including all walls reskimmed and new coving fitted.
⚪️New drainage fitted.
⚫️ New floorboards throughout with electric underfloor heating.
⚪️ Shower cubicle, niche, freestanding bath, toilet, double countertop basins and heated light up mirror.
⚫️ Floor, shower cubicle walls & basin splashback tiled.

This customer had a vision of how they wanted this room transformed and we’re extremely pleased with the end results.👀

Back in the new year for a double garage conversion into a new kitchen/diner.

En-suite 2️⃣ of 3️⃣.

Second bathroom which we completed for the same customer.

New entrance doorway opened up to make more useable space. Blocking up the existing door, boarding and reskimming the bedroom wall.
Shower cubicle moved, End bath added, sink and toilet re shuffled, ceiling re skimmed, floor to ceiling tiling throughout and electric underfloor heating.

Full rip out a refit replacing the bath with a low level shower tray, partial re-skim, basin relocated, new pipe work and waste under floor level, electric underfloor heating, floor and wall tiling. 🔨

Stair revamp completed.✅ Recently refitted a new kitchen for this customer and she wanted a more modern look to the stairs.

The old painted ply boards removed, new baserail, handrail & chamfered spindles added. New caps added to the existing newel posts to finish.

A nice refresh of a dated staircase which has allowed more light to flow through the hall and landing. Now ready for decorating and new carpets 🎨

Oak doors and Oak staircase completed for a returning customer. We have now done a media wall, bespoke kitchen, downstairs W/C, internal doors, staircase and all the skirting boards throughout the downstairs all in the same property 🏠

6 new oak internal doors 🚪 replaced with black handles, latches and hinges.

Old white staircase removed and replaced with a modern oak and black metal spindle staircase.
Customer decided to clad the the sides in oak and add an extra handrail. ✅

Now ready for the decorator to repaint and new carpets to go down.

All the materials supplied by SJC.

1 of 2 staircases completed this week ✅

This customer wanted a complete transformation on the existing and outdated staircase, and wanted it to look completely solid oak.

So we installed new oak newel posts, moving the bottom post further in so we could add a bottom bullnose step. Installed new oak baserails and handrails grooved out for glass, so there wasn’t the need to have the glass clamps! (Which looks so much better in my opinion).
Templated the glass as the customer wanted big glass panels instead of small ones, so we went for 3 panels on the landing and 3 panels on the rake.

We cladded the side stringers around the treads finished with square edged beading in oak. We then added a rounded capping piece on the tiled side to provide a nice smooth finish.
We then finished the tiling mitres into the staircase both under neath and over the top.

Once all was complete we finished the oak in danish oil to give it the right colouring to match as best we could with the existing oak doors, skirtings and architraves.

What a transformation this looks compared to the original! 😍

Sundays job completed with J.Cadwallader. Old artex ceiling, scraped, sealed and skimmed. 2nd ceiling we have done for this customer aswell as a bathroom and downstairs cloakroom.

2 more jobs to complete tomorrow, then we shall be “driving home for Christmas” 🎄 🎅
