Got called out to this one for a leak which turned out to be the aav popped a new one in and job done until the customer said she had been occasionally smelling gas. After investigation it turned out to be the gas valve passing unfortunately that meant I had to turn it off until a new one could be fitted. Your safety is always my first priority. Happy hump day 😁

So went to a boiler service the other day that’s been in since 2007 and yet on every service no one had picked up that the flue wasn’t sealed inside or out the customer even stated that the trim ring on the inside was fitted a few years later just to cover the hole and make it look nicer 🤦🏻‍♂️ needless to say that has now been rectified

We have a really lovely neighbour who called me the other day saying that the hot water seemed to be getting VERY hot so I popped round to take a look and as suspected the cylinder stat was faulty so after a quick swap back on and tested job done.

So this high level cistern in a Manor House needed a new syphon but the new one was to short to reach the lead flush pipe so after sourcing an adapter from a local merchant job done and another happy customer@
