When a Victorian railway station at Wansford Road near Peterborough was scheduled for demolition to make way for road improvements, it was preserved so that future generations could see and touch a type of building that was rapidly disappearing from the English landscape. Having been carefully rebuilt, stone by stone, the building is now being carefully repainted by CML Decorators.
