I had two emails today that came in just 4 minutes apart, from 2 different organisations but with very similar messages.

The first message was from the Midland Enterprise Awards and this is an extract from it

“Now is a great time to celebrate and truly share a year of quality service and determination with your team. Garage Door & Shutter Services are deserving awardees of the below award -

Best Garage Door & Roller Shutter Specialists 2026 - Lincolnshire”

The 2nd email was from the prestige awards for Central England and here is an extract from their email

“Nice speaking with you and I’m glad I could provide you some good news!

As confirmed, you’ve been selected as this year’s winner, congratulations again! I will summarise everything below and if you have any questions, please let me know.
Garage Door & Shutter Services – Garage Door Installers of the Year (Cambridgshire)”

I work hard to achieve this sort of recognition.

Today we fitted a new roller door and then went on to do a repair on another one. When I got home I was notified that I had a new review.

“Garage Door and Shutter Services (Dave Jellis and colleague) have just completed the installation of a lovely new Rollixo Premium io garage door in white.
Removal of old up and over door completed and new door installed with trim and tidy up and demonstration in 4 hours, a fabulous service. We highly recommend this company. Great door, great fitting and price very competitive for a Quality door.”

This is why I love my job.

It’s been a while since I posted anything on here, mainly because it’s been busy. Here’s a selection of doors we have fitted recently starting with the two golden oak roller doors we fitted today with golden oak cladding to reveal and lintel.

The last 2 days we have been working at a property replacing an old roller door with a new one and then replacing 2 old Henderson up and over doors with 2 new Garador wentwood up and over door. All with a rosewood finish.

Yesterday we removed an old broken retractable door and replaced it with this Hormann L rib sectional door in Anthracite Grey and operated by a Hormann Supramatic operator

A few weeks ago I took a phone call from a gentlemen who said “you’ve been recommended to me as someone who repairs garage doors, mine has come out of its runners do you think you can repair it for me”. I went to have a look at it and made several recommendations to him. Yesterday we went and replaced his garage doors. Before and after photos
