The apprentice doesn't get to do a great deal of internal sand, cement & lime work so it was good to let him have a little go on a kitchen & utility extension we have on the go.

It's been a while since i have got up on the stilts but some ceilings just require them. Job done.

A day in the life of Homewood plastering with a plaster shortage.

7am Kettering wickes. Waited in the queue for an hour and a half and they ran out when six from the front. They had 500 bags.

The new purchasing dept aka ' the wife' drove to Wickes Newmarket to get 5 bags.

Lastly my faith in humanity returns with thanks to friends by getting some plaster from wickes Peterborough. I tip my hat to the staff there. .....and the wife.

There is work out there. Let's get this economy going. We need to.
