There was a huge amount of prep on this garage conversion. Drainage and plumbing all moved, lots of structural work including removal of a dated 300kg lintel. Fireproofing, electrics, brickwork, plastering insulation, half a Swedish forest in the walls and the flat roof made good.

And the Skylight of course.

It’s going to be used as an Art Studio, so light and space was very important.

Customer is really pleased and wanted to decorate themselves.

Have a lovely family who are great customers.

Their father had a stroke recently and needed a bathroom refit quickly in order for him to be allowed home.

Glad to say he’s on the mend and should be back in a few weeks after 6 months in hospital.

Was an interesting refit as ‘everything’ had been leaking for some time and everything needed moving.

We managed to come up with a layout allowing free movement with supporting aids on his left side.

Thanks also to Elliott Capper for plastering and Massingham Electrical LTD for electrics.

Bathroom with waterproof micro cement, shower niche, concealed valves, overflow outlet, concealed taps and floating vanity unit.

Took a bit of doing but happy with the result.

Interesting En-suite.
Previous owner had double tiled directly into blockwork with some also interesting DIY electrical and waste solutions.

Really enjoyed doing this garage conversion for a young family in Spalding.

Transformed an old disused garage into a hair salon and downstairs cloakroom so they can start working for home, reducing overheads and have the convenience of doing the school run with young children.

All ready for the customer to furnish, paint, tiling in cloakroom and start working from home.
