π Celebrating World Prematurity Day 17th November 2014
Here is a little insight as to why we have Bliss as our chosen charity.
Back in 2014, Our first son Jack was born spontaneously in 22 minutes at 32 weeks, weighing 4.1lb. it was a very scary time because of why he was born too early. Spending 8 weeks in the QA NICU. He is now a thriving 10 years old π©΅
In 2020, our twins Chester and Heidi were born at 31 weeks. Weighing 2.8lbs and 3.6lbs. With a 9 week stay at QA NICU, they had the best care and support from Bliss.
It is never an easy time when babies are born sick or premature. The struggles, the moments you miss out on, the small achievements and also the not knowing, completely consumes you as a parent. With the support, myself and Nathan were able to be more than just parents at NICU, but their carers, being involved with nurse duties that made us feel included in our children's care to finally bring them home.
We felt in our hearts when creating Scope Innovations we had to make Bliss our nominated charity.
Thankyou for reading and please look out for further events for Bliss/ Scope Innovations Ltd Group π©΅π
