Trowbridge Tournament success

A few of the current u9 girls travelled to Trowbridge yesterday for their final Tournament of the summer.
It was hot and we didn't have enough players for substitutions. The girls had to work hard and we were against some tough opponents from the West. However, the girls showed determination and confidence which led us through to the knock out stages.

Its always such a pleasure to play our favourites Stratton Juniors Football Club too. A lovely day had by us all in the sunshine.

Peggy and Lucy made their county under 11 debuts yesterday, beating Gloucestershire. Peggy got two wickets with her first two balls and Lucy got a wicket too. We are delighted for the girls who are a credit to the club. Well done Peggy and Lucy 🙌
