Our Myrtle Cottage, Blackawton project is now fully completed 😍

Lime and traditional plaster used throughout this beautiful listed property, finishing it with Earthborn paint in white to maintain breathability.

The extension, kitchen, and bathroom areas were all completed in a durable matt white for a clean, long-lasting finish.

All woodwork was thoroughly cleaned, stripped back, and refinished using Johnstone’s Aqua Guard system in white. Metal door furniture was carefully picked out in black for a sharp contrast.

Exterior doors were fully prepped, repaired with Timberbuild, and finished in Albany Masterdec for durability and protection.

Another happy customer and another space transformed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Full lower section of this house redecorated in Dittisham 😍

Great to be back working for a repeat builder 💪🏻

Walls finished in a Little Greene colour mixed into Johnstone’s Durable Matt, with the same colour used on all woodwork in Johnstone’s Aqua Guard Satin 👌🏼

Ceilings done in Johnstone’s Ultra Matt White for a bright, light-reflective finish.

Oak flooring sanded, fully cleaned to make dust free and then finished with two full coats of Osmo UV Protection Oil 🤩

All prep completed with Mirka dustless sanders to keep the property as dust-free as possible.

Another 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ result.

P.S. We hand-painted the kitchen, utility, and the whole upstairs at a later date too, but forgot to take the photos 🤦🏼‍♂️

Safe to say the customer was over the moon 🙌🏼

It’s almost that time for exteriors again… isn’t it? 😅

Surely the sun will be out soon ☀️

This bungalow was decorated last summer — yes… we did actually have one once 🤦🏼‍♂️

To start, the property was fully cleaned externally to remove algae, dirt, and any salt build-up. Being not too far from the sea, this is really important — otherwise the paint can fail far sooner than it should.

Any cracks and loose paint on the concrete window sills were scraped back and raked out. The sills were then sealed with Zinsser Peel Stop to stabilise the surface, followed by Toupret exterior filler. Once dry, everything was sanded flat and blended back into the existing texture. We also applied a bead of CT-1 along the bottom of the windows to fully seal them.

The walls were then finished with two coats of Johnstone’s Stormshield masonry paint in white, while the window sills received two coats of the same product in a light blue for that classic seaside look ⛵

As always, windows, doors, and all fixtures and fittings were fully masked, taped, and draped to keep everything paint-free.

And of course… we’ll even give your windows a clean afterwards ✨

One we completed last year 🔥

What a transformation on this HSL (hall, stairs & landings) 😍

All the usual new build issues — loose tapes, screw pops, cracking and poor workmanship — fully rectified and done properly this time 👌🏼 Built to last.

🎨 Walls finished in an off-white using Johnstone’s Acrylic Durable Matt (Class 1 scrubbable) — tough, durable and perfect for high traffic areas.

🖤🤍 Woodwork coated in Johnstone’s Aqua Guard Matt Black & White — the matt finish is so good. Sleek, modern and highly recommended ✨

☁️ Ceilings completed in Johnstone’s Ultra Flat Matt for that flawless, ultra-smooth finish.

Everything dustless sanded to keep the home as clean and dust-free as possible throughout the process.

16 Bathrooms Completed at the Hannafore Point Hotel ✨

Another big one wrapped up and delivered to a high standard 💪

All tiles and bathroom suites were fully masked, taped & draped to keep every surface completely paint-free — protection is everything on jobs like this.
New plaster areas were:
✔️ Mist coated
✔️ Fully dustless sanded
✔️ Finished with Zinsser Perma-White in the correct areas for a durable, mould-resistant finish

All woodwork completed using the Johnstone's Paint Aqua Guard system to achieve that bright, crisp white that stays white and stands up to heavy bathroom use 🤍

Correct prep. Correct products. Correct finish.

Recently, we had the pleasure of working alongside Sarah Chiswell Interiors on a beautiful project in Dartington.

Not often we use Benjamin Moore products, but we really can’t fault them on this one — the finish is spot on.

We also used Zinsser UK AllCoat on the PVC windows and fascia in the ever-popular Anthracite Grey, following a thorough sand and clean down.

The pine beams were fully dustless sanded, treated with Rustins Wood Bleach to remove the yellow tinge, and finished with two coats of wood dye to create a rich oak look.

This space has truly been transformed 😍
Hopefully, we’ll get to be involved in more of Sarah’s projects if they turn out like this one 👌🏼

What a transformation 😍

Not all ceilings need to be white, they can be pink 🩷

Don't get to do jobs like this everyday but what a job 🤩 unbelievable views of whitsand bay certainly made it an enjoyable one

All shiplap timber, fascia and soffits were fully professionally cleaned by C Clean Southwest before being fully sanded and then cleaned down and all dust removed 👌🏼

3 coats of sadolin classic all purpose wood stain was applied as to architect specification in colours from the original build.

The hard work was certainly worth it as you can see from the finish😍

That's me done for another year 🎨

Been involved in some amazing projects this year (few I done below) and been super busy. Worked for some great companies along the way and hopefully have the opportunity to work with them again in 2025
