Here at Clegg & Shortman Asphalt Co Ltd, we are looking for experienced flat roofers for an immediate start where possible.

Driving licence is essential, as is experience. We are ideally looking for someone who has worked as a felter/flat roofer as opposed to purely a labourer.

CSCS preferred, but not essential.

Wage dependant upon experience, with competitive rates of pay.

Hourly rate, weekly pay. 28 days holiday/annual leave per annum.

Opportunity for progression for the right candidate.

Training provided and paid for by the company, such as Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling etc.

Friendly and well reputable company that has been undertaking various aspects of roofing for over 45 years. We undertake various roofing works and projects for a range of clientele such as local authorities, housing associations, schools, building contractors, defence contractors and domestic clients and home owners. The majority of the work is within Plymouth and/or the surrounding area, with some occasional work within the wider South West area.

We are looking for a reliable, punctual and experienced individual. Please do not apply if you have no experience in flat roofing as your application will not be considered. Immediate start available and hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.

Do you like our new cover photo?

Clegg & Shortman recently undertook asphalt roofing works on behalf of M.A.M Roofing (Services) Ltd Barnsley to the RBS building in Plymouth City Centre. With the use of the IKO Roofstar System, our operatives were able to create a seamless and waterproof covering, which will last for years to come!
Another great job by our dedicated guys on site and of course not to forget our Contracts Manager Steve who worked alongside M.A.M to fulfil their requirements and specification.
